The Children's Place, The Right Place for Fall
![]() |
Too cool for school! |
I was invited to attend a Back to School event at The Children's Place this past week. You don't have to ask me twice when shopping is involved! With boys who grow faster than a weed, I am in constant need for new clothes for them. Not to mention with the lack of cold days that we have here, we are never prepared for cold weather clothes. Not this year....
The Children's Place is showing their recent fall must haves. Of course the girl clothes were simply adorable, but I can't shop on that side of the store. I shopped for the boys by planning ahead to our yearly trip to Disney when the weather is cooler.

Apparently he thinks he's a model! |
Their future's so bright.... |
Of course I had to give into one of the kids' requests....cool sunglasses! They haven't taken them off yet...seriously.
Head on over to The Children's Place for affordable fall must haves!
Although I received a gift card and chose the outfits that I used for this review, all opinions are my own. Please note that the opinions reflected in this post have not been influenced by the sponsor in any way.

Really? Really?
So I went to the Dunkin' Donuts Back to School event this week. It was my first blogging event ever...I was so excited.
I already gave you a run-down on all of the fantastic treats that we got, but I didn't mention the real "treat" that everyone else got...
A glimpse into why I'm so exhausted....
Before leaving the house:
Me: "Boys, we're going to Dunkin' Donuts."
Boys: "Yay!"
Me: "We're going because Mommy needs to meet with some people that work on the computer."
6 year old: "You're going to make new friends?"
Me: "Yes. But you have to promise me that you will be good. If you promise, then I will get you donuts."
Boys: "We promise!"
Little did I know, I should have looked for crossed fingers....
All went well when the first testers of donuts and Coolattas went around. Then I started talking to the other bloggers and all went down hill!
I have no idea what happened, I just know that I look up and my 6 year old is hitting his brother! The little one is crying and I step in and pull my oldest to the bathroom (as he screams that I am hurting him) only to find it locked. So I pulled him to a corner to talk with him. He then walked back over and put his head down. All the while my more dramatic 4 year old was wailing about how he hurts.
HOW EMBARRASSING!!!!
I guess I should buy stock in Calgon so it can take me FAR away!!

Moms Love Dunkin' Donuts!
Did you know Dunkin' Donuts has other things besides donuts??
I knew that, but was a bit timid to try new things (this is something my husband makes fun of about me...). I'm sorry, I like to stick with what I know! Chocolate glazed and cinnamon donuts are my all time favorite. I prove this by getting one of each when I visit any Dunkin' Donuts...
But recently, I was invited to try out some other lesser known products that are available at Dunkin' Donuts. Mini samples of all kinds of deliciousness were passed around for us to try. (I think every restaurant should do this, by the way...)
A Back to School event for blogging moms was hosted by Tilson PR firm at a Dunkin' Donuts in Miami, FL. The event was focused around the ever popular slogan, "Everyone runs on Dunkin'." Well, they proved that even busy moms can "Run on Dunkin'" too!
I am now a new lover of other things on Dunkin' Donuts' menu, including new flavors of donuts. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Frosted donut...who knew? And the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Twist? Even my little adventurous eater liked this one.
Have you ever had the Tuna Croissant or the Pepperoni Stuffed Breadstick? I recommend them both. Want something fabulous? Try the Turkey, Cheddar and Bacon Flat Bread....to die for! And don’t get me started on the Southern Style Chicken Flatbread...I’ll definitely be going back for more.
And what about the beverages? My kids’ favorites were, of course, the Blue Raspberry Coolatta and Cherry Coolatta. As a lover of all things sweet, I really enjoyed the Sweet Iced Tea. And I now have a new coffee obsession...the Iced Caramel Mocha Latte.

Of course the girls at Tilson PR and Dunkin’ Donuts provided us with goody bags filled with all kinds of goodies including these
Thanks, Dunkin' Donuts and Tilson PR for a wonderful day!
Disclosure: Although the samples were provided, all opinions are my own.

Recently I was playing on the Bacardi site. They have this cool Mix Master link where you can choose ingredients and your level of difficulty, and it will spit out a cocktail recipe. {SO FUN!} And I came across my childhood favorite with an adult twist!! How excited was I???
