Been busy dealing with a fall that my mom took recently that had her in the hospital. Luckily she was with her friends when she fell, so they were able to call 911 right away. She had surgery, and is now in a rehab facility.
I feel so sad.
Sad that she's not independent for the time being. I know that's the one thing that she takes pride in.
Sad to see her sad and in pain. Sad that I don't live closer to her to be there every day.
I know she will recover quickly because she's young and she's determined, but I'm still sad.
This is why I haven't been present lately. I promise to be back soon.
